Thank you for your interest in using the services of the Queen
Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC). The QMLAC is a student led centre. If we take
on your enquiry, it will be overseen by an undergraduate law student, who will
be supervised throughout the process by a lawyer with expertise in the area of
law. Following an initial fact-finding appointment, clients receive a legal
advice letter, usually three weeks after their appointment. We are unable to
provide urgent advice, and are not able to provide representation at court or
tribunal (except on certain welfare benefits appeals) or any ongoing
representation.
Please keep the information you provide to a minimum in the boxes
relating to your legal matter. The QMLAC team will be in touch to take further
details to triage your enquiry.
We keep personal enquiry data for one year, even if no appointment
booking is made. We keep personal enquiry and client data, if an appointment
booking is made, for six years.
